Types of Clouds
0awan menurut bentuknya terbagi menjadi beberapa jenis :
1. Awan Commulus, yaitu awan yang bergumpal dan bentuk dasarnya horizontal
2. Awan Stratus, yaitu awan tipis yang tersebar luas dan menutupi langit secara merata
3. Awan Cirrus, yaitu awan yang berdiri sendiri, halus dan berserat, sering terdapat kristal es tetapi tak menimbulkan hujan

Cloud Formation
0Cloud Formation
The air always contains water vapor. When this water vapor overflow into water droplets, the clouds formed. Peluapan this can happen in two ways:
1. If the hot air, more steam is contained in the air because the water faster menyejat. Hot air is loaded with this water will rise higher, until arriving in one layer with a lower temperature, it will melt and vapor cloud formed, the molecules of water points are countless.
2. The air temperature does not change, but circumstances damp atmosphere. The longer the air will become increasingly tepu with water vapor.
If the cloud has formed, water droplets in clouds will become even greater and the cloud will become increasingly severe, and slowly the force of gravity pulling it down. Up until the point where the water droplets will continue to fall down and the rain descended.
If these water droplets meet the hot air, the dots will evaporate and the clouds disappeared. This is what causes the clouds always changing shape. Water contained in the clouds evaporate and melt turns. This is also a cause sometimes there are clouds that bring no rain.

Cloud Types and Classification
0Cloud Types
1. Commulus-Cloud, the clouds gather and form a horizontal bottom
2. Stratus-Cloud, which is thin clouds covered the sky is widespread and evenly
3. Cirrus-Cloud, the cloud is an island, smooth and fibrous, often there are ice crystals but did not cause rain
Clouds and their classification
The form is like cotton and unique variety is a beautiful sight in the sky as the sky was bright. But for the pilots, the cloud could pose a threat to aviation if not carefully identify. By definition, cloud is a collection of water vapor in the sky can be derived from evaporation from the sea, lakes, or rivers. A collection of this water vapor can also cause rain. While the cloud is located very high, causing water vapor to freeze and fall to earth as snow. Internationally, the clouds are classified based on the discovery of the British meteorological experts, Luke Howard in 1803, a group of clouds:
-Stratus
-Cumulus
-Cirrus
In addition to three that, Howard also added Nimbus cloud, often called the rain clouds. Groups including the Nimbus cloud cloud Nimbusstratus and Comulonimbus. Clouds can also be classified on their location, namely:
Low-Cloud, which located from sea level to a height of two kilometers (7.000 feet). Fog is included in this group.
Medium-Cloud, located between 2 km to 6 km (20.000 feet).
High-Cloud, located above the 6 km further. Because at that height the temperature reached -24 degrees Celsius, the water vapor in the cloud particles become frozen and it is a cloud which can cause hail / snow.
The clouds that have a variety of unique shapes and properties on their own. In a class of low clouds is called Comulonimbus the International coded flights Cb. Its is located at low altitude, very large clumps, and usually dark colored. Cb is very dangerous because they contain electric currents and stir with a powerful air. The pilot was avoided because the fatal consequences if a plane flew into the clouds Cb. In addition, the class of low cloud is called Cumulus (Cu), Stratus (St) and stratocumulus (Sc). Cu is generally seen as a pile of cotton in the sky. The amount is not fixed, sometimes thick, but more often small and thin. Medium St location is higher than the copper color is slightly brown and tend to thin. Sc highest form of waves and sometimes in the form of small pieces. There are three types that include cloud medium is Nimbostratus (Ns), Altostratus (As), and Altocumulus (Ac). Ns is thick with dark clouds and often contain rain or snow. As the clouds above it is a form of unstable, thick sometimes dark, sometimes bright light. While Ac brownish and tends to thin because of a tendency cloud, the higher the more tipis.Tiga high cloud types, namely Cirrostratus (Cs), Cirrocumulus (Cc), and the highest cloud of all clouds of Cirrus clouds (Cs). Thin, white, and contains particles of ice. These particles cause an optical effect when exposed to sunlight.
Cloud Forms
Cloud shapes vary depending on the weather and altitude. But the main form there are three types, namely, the multiple layers in Latin called stratus, which forms fibers fibrous-called cirrus, and a lumpy called cumulus (spelling Indonesia: stratus, Sirius, and cumulus). In the area of low (less than 3,000 m) the lowest, stratus clouds covered the mountain peaks that are not too high. In the lower central region, strato-cumulus clouds form, and that near 3000 m altitude cumulus clouds form. Large and thick clouds in low areas called kumulo potentially-nimbus rain, thunder and lightning caused.
Clouds can form at high altitude on the mountain over 3,000 m high, forming an umbrella over the top. For example, on Mount Ciremai (3078 m), the peaks in Irian pegununganJaya Wijaya whose height between 4000-5000 m, even always covered with snow. Similarly, Mount Fuji (3776 m) peak is always covered with brilliant white snow is very beautiful. At the height of this medium can form alto-stratus clouds are rows and rows, alto cumulus and alto-Cyrus.
What about the clouds in the area of high (above 6,000 m)? There are formed the Syro-stratus clouds that appear as Teja around the sun or moon. Also formed the Syro-cumulus clouds that form extensive pieces pieces unfold. Also can form a thin cloud Cyrus bertebar like smoke.
